Guest guest
Dear learned members, I would like to know the historical background of Mysore Chamundeshwari Temple, the temple sculpture, the image of Great Goddess of Chamundi (how many hands and ayudhas) and who installed the Goddess. I heard that the Mysore Maharajas (Wodeyar family) composed some hymns on this great goddess. Could anybody please share some of them. I would be happy to see as i am a devotee of Chandi Paradevata. regs, sriram Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage. Get it now

Guest guest
Continuing with this post below, I have uploaded all the audio files I obtained from the website below to 2 rapidshare folders, http://rapidshare.com/users/5J5OFE http://rapidshare.com/users/MV0NGE From the discussions in the forums below, and listening to these compositions with very limited musical perspective, the immense scholarship/genius/bhakti of the mahArAjA comes through very forcefully. I will post the lyrics for these compositions from the forum below one at a time, and maybe the knowledgable members of the list can chip in with their observations on these compositions. shrI kAmAkShI paradevatAyAH pAdAravindayoH samarpitam ..
