Guest guest
For message /message/11610 For the nR^isiMha bhasma snAna vidhi the mantras used are nR^isiMha anuShTup.h + tAntrika aghora-rudra + sudarshana + garuDa p~anchAkShari + shiva pa~nchAkShari + shiva chintAmaNi Forgot to include garuDa earlier. nR^isiMha is also invoked while performing the AvaraNa pUja of sharabheshvara. For sarabha references: The work is sharabhArchana pArijAta - not kalpadruma. Ofcourse much of the popular material on sharabha comes from AkAsha bhairava kalpa. Guest guest
Dear members, A bit out of the topic. Some of the people are of the opinion that Sharabha is a mythological fictious animal like chinese dragon. But it is NOT. Its fossils were found during excavation in North East parts of India (around Assam and Gauhati) and the name of this bird is found in the work " Discovery of India " by Jawaharlal Nehru. Sharabha was a most powerful bird / animal that could fly above the ground holding the Lion with its powerful claws. Like Dinasaurs, this is also extinct bird. with regards, sriram , " Satish " <satisharigela wrote: > > For message > /message/11610 > > For the nR^isiMha bhasma snAna vidhi the mantras used are > > nR^isiMha anuShTup.h + tAntrika aghora-rudra + sudarshana + garuDa > p~anchAkShari + shiva pa~nchAkShari + shiva chintAmaNi > > Forgot to include garuDa earlier. > nR^isiMha is also invoked while performing the AvaraNa pUja of > sharabheshvara. > > For sarabha references: > > The work is sharabhArchana pArijAta - not kalpadruma. > Ofcourse much of the popular material on sharabha comes from AkAsha > bhairava kalpa. >
