Guest guest Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 || Jai Sadguru Dutta || Sri Sadguru Seva Trust, Bangalore, is conducting " Sri Sadguru Jnana Yajna " from 3 to 12 Jan 2009 at Sri Chandrashekara Barathi Kalyana mantap, Shankarpuram, Bangalore (behind Sri Sringeri Shankar Mutt). The main objective of this Jnana satram is comprehensive Aradhana of Sri Guru Tattwa. The highlight of this program is worship and darshan of the holy padukas of various Guru Devathas including that of the present and previous acharyas of the Shringeri Sharada peetam, avadhutas of Sri Dattatreya pantheon, Sri Raghavendra swamigal of Mantralayam, Sri Gondavale Maharaj etc. The Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Sri Sharada Peetam, Sri Bharathi Teertha Mahaswamin, on 23-05-2007 had blessed the Trust members with Sri Dattatreya Paduka and had instructed to worship it at various Guru Peetas. Accordingly, the paduka has been worshipped at 40 holy places. It is intended to construct " Sri Sadguru Chaitanya Paduka Mandir " and arrange for the daily worship and darshan of all the padukas. During the above mentioned dates various vedic rituals like Aruna Poorvaka Surya Namaskar, Ganapathy-Subrahmanya-Anjaneya-Dattatreya- Rama Taraka havans, Sri Chandii-Lakshminarayana Hrdaya-Guru Charithra and Sri Ramayana parayanam are conducted daily in the early hours, followed by lectures and seminars by scholars in the later part of the day and cultural programmes in the evening.
