Bhajagovindam by Shri Sankara?

The compostions, prakaraNAs and bhAShyAs of Acharya Sankara have a clear and

distinct style. Many compositons of post-sankara period have been ascribed the

authorship of sankara which is a debatable issue. And i am afraid

" bhajagovindam " is one among them.

 

Acharya never uses crude language like " mUDhamate " etc. which is the work of a

dandi sanyasi. Some of the works of swayamprakAsha yati, abhinava sankara are

also ascribed to Acharya Sankara.
