Guest guest
shrI gurubhyo namaH shrI mahAgaNapataye namaH Dear Shri Menon: This is the one thing that EVERYONE, of all genders, castes, creeds can do. Indeed, EVERYONE already does this in one form or another. antaryAga is not some fancy ritual. It is the internal contemplation of the almighty. There are methods to facilitate this activity, and those can be done by anyone as well. Regards. shrI mAtre namaH - sankara menon Wednesday, March 18, 2009 1:33 PM RE: Antaryaga . Guest guest
Antaryaga is nothing but interaction for integration without intercourse (body and mind contact) with the Guru. One has to understand the following main principles first: 1. Whatever side the Guru or Divine faces becomes East and a devotee always sits facing the Guru or Divine, which is West. Since we are going to merge with the Divine Energy and Power of the Guru and the Divine, no sides are actually considered important. Whatever side one faces it becomes West facing the Guru or Divine Mother, whatever you may deem fit. 2. One should always put before him the figure of his guru in a LIVING FORM - THAT IS WITH A VERY HEALTHY SAREERA AND BREATHING IN AND OUT. REMEMBER THAT THE GURU ALWAYS BREATHS IN THROUGH HIS LEFT AND BREATHS OUT THROUGH HIS RIGHT NOSTRIL.THE DEVOTEE SHOULD ALSO TRY TO BREATH SIMILARLY - CORRECT HIS BREATHING AS ALREADY SUGGESTED IF NECESSARY. 3. Offer your breathing - do not deliver or put it into him - allow the Guru to enter your heart through your left nostril, merge His energy with your soul, come out through your right nostril, then take your breathing and soul into him through his left merge with His soul and come out through His right nostril, and then push it into you through your left nostril When you face the Guru , your right becomes his left and vice versa. It is the easy. 4. Poorna charanagathi is nothing but athma nivedhanam, where you do not offer as nivedhya but offer your soul as an offering without any preconditions. The Guru's hand is always on top and not below. He deliveres and not takes. He picks up and not receives. 5. This process can be integrated with any mantra or Ham saha when breathing in and out. 6. try this method sincerely, and you will find that you had gone beyond time and distance. Your breathing will be minimal, with suspended animation, consumption of less oxygen and you would be thinking that you are doing the meditation just for 5 minutes, where as hours would have gone by. Try this method sincerely and I am sure the Guru mandalam will be wide open and all the energy of the Gurus, the Divine ultimate absolute power of God will all merge into you and you will begin to vibrate pure divine energy. No wants, no enemity, no pollution and wherever you to your vibrations will benefit everyone around you. For instance whenever you travel by us or train, the seat next to you might be vacant always or the person sitting next to you will go to sleep because of your vibrations. None will disturb you even in travel and you can travel contemplating the divine. Blessings to all. Guest guest
Dear sir, Is this the *antaryaga* prescribed in shakta upanishads, rashmi mala and jnanarnava Tantra? Is this the antaryaga paddhati prescribed by Shri Bhaskararaya Makhin? I can very well understand the heart of Shri Menon, who is the disciple of paramapujya Shri Nilakanta Mahadeva Joshi. His question on *antaryaga* is *something* else..... BTW, i appreciate the valuable advice & caution given to Mr. Iyer regarding the *mahayaga* that too in city like *calcutta*. with warm regards, sriram , S Sangaranarayanan <sangarsai wrote: > > > Antaryaga is nothing but interaction for integration without intercourse (body and mind contact) with the Guru. > > One has to understand the following main principles first: > > > > 1.
