Guest guest Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 I have been to Girinaredhwar and Tryambakeshwar a month ago.I have read articles and also form google search I understto that there is a Sakthi Peetham in that locality on the banks of Godavari. When I asked the Priest in Girinareshwar he said it was a temple of Girija Matha about 20 Kms away.I went there Ambaal was there and the Saannithyam was good.But enquries locally said it was not a Sakthi Peetham From my researches I had come to the conclusin it was Janasthan 3 kms from Tryambakeshwar. The priest at Tryambakeshwar said it was more than 40 kms away.But a watchman at the temple said it was on the top of a hill hear by where there is a thatched shed.But I could not locate the place May I requesr any knowledgeable member to help me with this riddle Jai Matha PBK Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is situated in the heart of the Nashik city and is known by the name " Bhadrakali " . Ask any auto person at Nashik, they will get you there. There is also another shakta pita by name " saptashringi " which is approx. 50 kms away from Nashik. It is situated in the village Wani.
