Guest guest
During the mahapralaya, Kali becomes one with the avyakta tattva or the Universal Principle. When the entire creation is dissolved, that Plane of Consciousness is called Maha smasana - the Graveyard. Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Ishwara, Sadasiva, 4 vedas become the corpse. During that moment, the great goddess of dissolution - the Kali shines as Chit Ghana Rupini. Then Kali in the process of Creating the Universe, looks at her own Bimba (Reflection). The Kali with her own bimba conceives a Male form in order to procreate. This Male form is called *Adinatha*. The Kali with Adinatha creates *Mahashunya*. Keeping Mahasunya as the base, Kali alongwith Adinatha performs *Viparita Rati Krida*. From the embrace of Adinatha & Kali, the Mahakali takes birth. The Adinatha in the form of Mahakala addresses Mahakali as *Sundari*. And thus, Bindu & Dhwani (Nada) are originated. With this Dhwani, Matrika Varna Mala (the Garland of Letters) gave birth. Later, Kali proceeds forth with the job of creation by making Kala reel under the delusion. Unable to bear the separation of Kali, Kala performs severe penance in the Maha Smasana (graveyard). The Kali pleased with the penance of Kala, grants Jnana and Sarva Akarshana Sakti to Kala. Out of her dakshinyata (compassion), Kali gave away the boons to Kala, hence, this form of Kali is known to be *Dakshina Kali* (the most compassionate form of Kali). The Kala with the blessing of Dakshina Kali performs severe penance and achieves the Shatchakra Bhedana. During the Shatchakra Bhedana, Kala is blessed with the vision of 51 presiding dieties of 51 matrikas who thereby grant the Kala 51 vidyas or sciences. They are: kali, iccha, jnana, kriya, chaturvedeshwari, maha ugra, siddhi kali, kala sundari, bhuvaneshwari, chandikeshwari, dasamahavidya, smasana kali, chanda bhairavi, tarini, vashikarana kalika, maha panchadasi, maha shodasi, chinnamasta, mahamadhumati, mahapadmavati, ramA, srikamasundari, panchami sundari, dakshina kalika, vidyesi, gayatri, shashti vidya, maha ratneshwari, mrita sanjivani, maha nilasaraswati, vasoddhara, trailokya mohini, shri kamakhya tarini, aghora, sangita mohini, bagala, arundhati, annapurneshwari, nakuli, trikantaki vidya, rajeshwari, trailokya akarshini, rajarajeshwari, kukkuti, siddha vidya, mrityu harini, mahabhogavati, vasavi, phetkari, mahasrimatrusundari. with regards, sriram
