Guest guest Posted June 6, 2009 Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 There is another opinion that mercury linga-s should not be used by house holders. Only yati-s or naiShTika-s are supposed to use it. This is because consuming any thing in contact with this is going to destroy the male organ which ofcourse is disastrous for a grihasta. The process is irreversible I think. Ofcourse there are other issues like mercury poisoning, if rasa digbhandana or other processes aimed to mitigate/eliminate its toxic effects are not done properly. So exercise care.
