In the middle of the Hridaya Padma Karnika, the upasaka contemplates the *Chit* which is non-different from Sridevi / Sriyantra. In the deep cavity of the hridaya, along with the *Chit* (Absolute Consciousness), the upasaka becomes *aware* of the the consort of Chit to be releasing him from the bondage of Samsara. Such a consort of Chit, the upasaka knows to be the *Bhairava*. Note: This is *chidbhairavagni tattva* in the hridaya akasa. And this sort of upasana is the method adopted by samayacharis where the actual sriyantra is hridaya akasa or dahara akasa. vishwabhEdavibhavo vikalpadhI lakShaNo bhavati vighnasantatih nirvikalpanijadhAmavishrama stannirAkaraNa matra kIrtitam //............9 Here, an aspect of upachara ie., Vighnotsarana (Vighna nivarana) is mentioned. Among the antahkarana chatushtaya, Mind or Manas is sankalpa-vikalpatmaka. This manifold thought process in the upasaka makes him to visualize the creation to be manifold and something which is external of himself. This sort of chitta vritti is the obstruction or vighna in tripura upasana. The real vighnosarana involves in the removal of mano vikalpas / chitta vikshepas and placing the Tripura Devi in the nirmala chidakasa. yatra nirviShayabodhalakShaNah svAtmasambhu rvatiShThatE(a)nisham tattvajAlaka midam shivAvadhi kShmAmukham sakala mAnasam matam //..............10 All the aspects of upacharas in navavarana archana have been mentioned like tirtha snana, sandhya vandana, yaga mandira pravesha, atma raksha, digbandhana, shad-anga-nyasa, bhavana of sriyantra in hridaya akasa, avahana of Tripura Devi in chidakasa. Now the upasaka invoking the Tripurasundari with the above bhavana, offers the *asana* or *seat* to commence the Navavarana Archana with 16 upacharas. What exactly is the Asana is mentioned in this sloka by Shri Amritanandanatha. Here an aspect of tattva shodhana is mentioned. In Shakta Advaita, as mentioned earlier, there are 36 principles of creation right from Prakasa (Siva), Vimarsha (Shakti) down to Prithivi (Earth). The contemplation or tattva shodhana of all these 36 principles in the pindanda of the upasaka / sadhaka is the *Asana* sthanas of Tripurasundari. Having contemplated the Tripura to be these 36 principles, the Upasaka proceeds forth with Antaryaga which would be mentioned in the subsequent posts...... //////////////////////to be continued /////////////////// with regs, sriram
