The rahasya of Ashta-Ashtaka Samarpana Prakriya (64 upacharas) is mentioned.

The pindanda of the upasaka has saptha (7) dhatus. They are:

1) tvak 2) rakta 3) mamsa 4) medhas 5) asthi 6) majja 7) shukra. The 8th one is

the samashti of all the 7 dhatus. So, each of these 8 again get split into 8

which becomes 8 x 8 = 64. This is called *aShTAShTaka*. There are presiding

deities (adhishtatr devatas) for all these aShTAShTaka vibhAjana (vide refer

Agni Purana - 146 th chapter - 1-10 slokas).

These presiding deities are placed at the corresponding parts in the pindanda of

the Jiva. All the 64 permutatations of the 8 dhatus have to be dissolved in the

*corresponding parts* of the pindanda of the jiva. Having performed the laya

parikalpana of the *aShTAShTaka*, the upasaka should abide in the mula tattva of

these aspects.

This is the rahasya of ashtashtaka samarpana.

O Mother Divine ! My right eye is Jnana Shakti and my left eye is Kriya Shakti.

The central point which is the Bhru Madhya Sthana is the Maha Shunya Sthana

which is Agni tattvatmaka. Above this Bhru Madhya Sthana, is the Sahasrara

Chakra.

May you grant me the Vision of Para-siva tattva in the Parama Akasa of Sahasrara

Chakra.

The atma chaitanya of the upasaka is the homAgni. This atma chaitanya of the

upasaka is non-different from the Siva Tattva rupa Agni. The vasanas / samskaras

of the upasaka that kindle the Atma Chaitanya rupa Agni is the Indhana

(Samidhas). The stages of experience such as Jagrat, Swapna, Sushupti, Turiya,

Turiyatita are the vritti panchakas of the upasaka. These vritti panchakas have

to be offered and dissolved (laya) as havish in the Atma Chaitanya rupa Para

Siva Agni.

Such an offerng is endorsed by knowers of Agama & Nigama as samarpaNa rupa homa.

The upasaka has to contemplate himself to be non-different from Para Siva. Such

a manovritti of the upasaka makes him introvert.

With such introvertness, the upasaka proceeds forth in the Tripurasundari

Upasana. As a part of the Tripurasundari Saparya, the upasaka does the

samanvaya bhavana (contemplation of one-ness) of bahiryaga krama with the

corresponding antaryaga krama, abides in the atma-samvid rupa para-siva tattva.

This samanvaya bhavana is the rahasya of kshama prarthana.

With this series on *Chidvilasa Stavah*, i would like to relapse into solitude

and spend my valuable time in upasana and sastra adhyayana.

On this auspicious day of *Guru Pournami*, i would like to remember the lovely

pair of the sandals of my gurunatha Shri Anjaneya Sastry, Parama Guru Shri

Srinivasa Sastry, Parameshti Guru Shri Gollapinni Mallikarjuna Sastry and

ParApara Guru Virupaksha of Hampi.

Wishing you all a wonderful & blissful guru pournami.

Good bye.........
