Guest guest
Dear Learned Members, Recently I had been to Hariharapura near Sringeri. There is a Math which has a Goddess Sharada, Lakshmi Narasimha temples and a Guru peetha. The place has a large Yaga Shala for conducting various Homa/Havans. The Sthala Purana says that this was the place where Daksha Yaga was done. The place has information that more specific information about the place is available in Skanda Purana > Sanatkumara Samhite > Sahyadri Kanda. I could not get the information of how to get the information about Hariharapura from the people whom I met there. I have the complete set of Skanda Purana (27 Volumes) in Sanskrit with Kannada translation. These volumes were with the Mysore Maharajas and when the Kingship was aboloshed, these documents were given to specific people with the intention to spread the message of the Puranas and that is how this publisher whose lineage is from the Vidvans of Mysore Palace got this Purana Published. However in the entire set, I am unable to identify Sanatkumara Samhite > Sahyadri Kanda >Tungabhadra Kanda. Can any one of the learned members help in identifying the specific part in Skanda Purana with information on Sanatkumara Samhita > Sahyadri Kanda > Tungabhadra Kanda. My intention is to spread the message of this place with authentic information from Skanda Purana. thanks and regards madan thanks and warm regards Madan Mohan GN ------------ " There are two groups of people; the first one is the group where people work and the second is the group where the people take credit.
