Help with some questions (Upang roopa)

Well, I'm not talking about Navdurgas. Lalita Panchami was originally a separate

celebration from a village in Gujarat that has been integrated in Navratri in

some parts, especially in Gujarat and Maharashtra. 'Upang' was the name of the

form from the village it originated in, I guess. So my question is what is this

form, how is it different from forms like kamakshi, panchapitrasnasita, ect.

Even the meaning of 'Upang' would be helpful.

Thanks

Austin

Dear austin,

I don't know about " Upang " tattva.

BTW, the navakshari mantra which you mentioned is related to chandi which is in

no way related to 9 avaranas of sriyantra.

regs,

sriram
