dear and respected devotees om nama shivaya

 

with the blessings of His Holyness sri sri sri kanchi maha swamigal the

renovation of 500 years old ancient and heritage temple of sri visalakshi ambal

sametha sri viswanatheeswarar temple and sridevi boodevi sametha sri

veeraraghava perumal temple at kalpoondi village arni taluk tiruvannamalai

district started on 02 feb 2009 and with the kind help of all devotees the

renovation work completed successfully. the kumbabhishegam of temple held on

30th august 2009. a large number of devotees attended the kumbabhishegam and

blessed by sri viswanatheeswarar.

subsequently the mandalabhishegam concluded on 14th oct 2009 with ekathasa rudra

abhishegam to sri viswanatheeswarar.

continuning the temple activies the monthly pradhoshams and nithya pooja

abhishegams are being performed.

on 02nd november 2009 the ippasi annabhishegam celebrated in sri

viswanatheeswarar sannathi in a grand manner all the village people

participated.

 

such a great temple should have nithya poojas continuously with the help of

respected devotees and like minded people.

we appeal to all the devotees to have your participation by sponsoring one day

abhishegam pooja for the temple by making a corpus of rs.6000/- one time payment

of your choice of day

 

the corpus fund will be deposited in nationalised bank in the name of KALPOONDI

WELFARE TRUST the proceeds of this funds will be utilised daily pooja expenses

maintenance of temple.
