Guest guest
It is indeed a Divine experience to hear " N " number of times the Navavarana Kirthanas of Dikshithar and I have a collection of these Kirthanas sung by at least 5 noted artists like Balamurlikrishna, seetha rajan,MLV and others. Some time back I had witnessed during the Sri Vidya Navavarana Puja after each Avarana Puja ,the relevant Kirthana was sung with accompanying instruments and it was a wonderful feeling. It is a good idea to play this in the background when one is involved in prayers to ambaaji extending more than two to three hours, as one may not be fatigued and that is the soothing effect one would get. Maha Swamy used to stand up to listen whenever anybody sung Avarana Kirthanas. One upcoming artist told me while other Kirthans could be learnt with reasonable effort, these Navavrana Kirthans are tough nuts to crack.
