Ida, Pingala & Sushumna are drunk with " Madya " . Tantra has a typical way of

explaining certain secrets, and hence, it is called guhya vidya.

 

The ananda or the pleasure that is experienced in this nADIs (Ida, Pingala &

Sushumna) are ephemeral or temporary when compared with Brahmananda - the

Supreme Bliss. And hence, this ephemeral or short-lived pleasure is depicted as

the bliss which is got by the consumption of " madya " or " wine " .
