Dear Divine Brothers/Sisters,

 

PRADOSHA:

 

I find that there are several small temples of Lord Siva who do not have a

vahanam of Rishabha for Pradosha utsavam or have a vahanam which is damaged and

require urgent repairs.

 

Having the best experience in making all types of wooden vahanams, and also

possessing the latest state of the art technology of coating silver/gold

directly on the vahanam, I am planning to select 5-10 poor temples deserving

help, and make the vahanam free of our labour cost. Each vahanam will be about

4 feet high with a wooden peetam, strictly as per principles of agama, mantra

and other sastras, coated with pure 99% silver and delivered to the temple,

might cost around USD 2000/- each. Even to repair the vahanams might cost the

same amount nearly.

 

I therefore request the elite and the devotees, to consider the possibilities of

donating to make the rishabha vahanam pure silver coated and delivered to the

temple. Our capacity is now around 500 vahanams per annum. The sponsors can also

choose the temple towhich they want to donate the vahanam and if required we can

put their name on the vahanam as donors.

 

The silver coatedvahanam will not be affected by weevils, insects, as we provide

a special under coat and overcoat which will also ensure that the silver can not

get oxidised and remain fresh and glittering for several years. Maintenance is

also easy. The silver cannot be stolen as scrapping will not give the money to

the thieves.

 

I know pretty well that our group consists of several elite and well to do

sponsors and i am sure the coordinator will be pleased to circulate this issue

to everyone including the other such sites.
