Guest guest
Namasthe. The first 100 shlokas of Mukha Panchashaty (MP) is known as Arya Satakam. The 500 shlokas of MP are arranged and every 100 shlokas are grouped as under. 1. Arya Satakam 2. Kataksha Satakam 3. Paadaravinda Satakam 4. Mandsmitha Satakam 5. Sthuthy Satakam The Deaf and Dumb Kavi ( Believed to be Kaalidash in previous incarnation -- Reborn due to a Dhosha incurred when he abused Devi using inappropriate words during the meeting to select the Best Kavi (when he was not selected for the post ) in the Durbar of Bhoja Raaja. Ambaaji said " You considered yourself as the BEST KAVI but I considered, YOU AND ME ARE NO DIFFERENT " and that is why you were not selected ) with the grace of Kaamakshy on a Purnima day out poured his Gyana of his heart as 500 Shlokas. It is said that a small uchishtam of Betel leaf fell from the mouth of Kaamkshy on the Dumb kavi.Though he was deaf and dumb from birth due to Dhosha, he was full of Ghyna. Shloka 48th Of Arya Satakam was very very dear to Maha Swamy which identifies a Purusha who has attained Kaamkshi Kataksha. Periyavaal used to say that we should continuously work for this till we get the Kataksham. The Kavi identifies the Signs as : -- A person who treats the Arch enemy and the Best friend in equal terms, the Most Beautiful Vasthu in the world and the ugliest object in equal measure, the Most wonderful Palace and the in hospitable forest in equal Acceptance, is said to have the Kaamkshy Kataksham. un quote : We see the qualities of a Jivan Muktha described here. Ambaa willing we would continue the Bhasyam of MP, once we are through AD. No Doubt this is one of the Rathna tryam for worshipping Kameswara -- Kameshwary. With Warm Regards Ganapathy -- Vijyalakshmy PS : It is amazing how a Deaf and Dumb can create a work like this in Sanskrit -- beyond science. Truly the grace of Ambaa.
