Ratnasagara & Srividyarnava Tantra says: Sphatika yantra can be worshipped forever; Gold yantra can be worshipped for one's life time; Silver Yantra can be worshipped for 20 years; Copper Yantra can be worshipped for 12 years and Burja patra yantra can be worshipped for 6 years. Of all the yantras, Sphatika Yantra is the most auspicious of all and considered to be shreshta.
