(Koti = = 'crore' as one of the meanings). Namasthe. The perceptions of Westerners are peculiar and this instance would prove that. Some scholars from the West based on a stellar configuration stated in a samhitha of Rig Veda ,through a computer program based on the present position of stars went back and arrived at a conclusion that it existed before 5,400 years. They came to periyavaal with that research report arriving at a conclusion that the age of Rig Veda was 5,400 years. After going into the details Periyava asked a simple question. Why did you stop at that 5,400 years and advised them still to go further back to find out if that stellar configuration even existed beyond that.. Thereafter they came and said the same stellar configuration was there before 45,000 years. Beyond that the computer program could not go . When that was so Periyavval's simple question was how did you conclude the Age of RIG VEDA ? and is that so simple.
