Guest guest Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 Dear Divine Souls, I ahve come across a very famous temple in chennai, who require the two vahanams to be urgently repaired and readied for the forthcoming festival in Apail. These two vahanams are more than 100 years old and coated with gold in the olden days, which has bleahed. The vahanams have been repaired and only gold coating remains, for which there are no devotees or sponsorers available readily. I therefore appeal to the divine souls, to see whether they can help this good cause. Both the vahanams would require around 300,000 rupees ( or USD 6500) and persons interested in contributing their mite, may please let me know and I shall advise them individually the payment to be made directly to the concerned people. For our part we are ready to contribute 50% of the labour charges for this good cause.
