Guest guest
Dear devotees The garbhagraha vigrahams of ammavaru in the form of akhilAndeshwari ( in thiruvaanaikovil) and visaalakshi ( of the visaalakshi sametha nyeelivananatha swami of tirupaijali) have padmam in their two hands. ( the other two hands have abhaya and vara mudras). Padmam being the roopa anga lahskanam of Lakshmi, one gets the doubt as to why siva pathni has decided to take the anga lakshmnam of a vishnu pathni in these 2 temples. ( this seems to be common in a lot of other siva temples in tiruchi district). What is the significance of this? srI harI Gopi
