Guest guest
Namasthe. Mahan Anna Subramaniam was one the greatest Sri Vidya upasakas in South and was fondly known as " ANNA " as during his time lived another Mahan also known by Subramaniam. widely known as " Sir " ( Chidanandanathar). Both the Mahans contributions to our scriptures is in-describable. Anna has written number of books with Tamil Bhasyams ranging from Upanishads,Gita,LS,DM and other Sri vidya scriptures, pitru pujas etc- published by R.K Mission - Chennai. Maha Periyavaal once said and published in Deivathhin Kural -- " What I do as a Sanyasin, Anna does in Gruhasthasrama. Such was his spiritual attainment and he lived a simple life strictly following the rules of a Gruhasthasrama. The word " Nadamadum Deivam " (walking God) addressing Periyavaal was coined by Anna. By Ambaa's grace I had the contact with his grand son who lived in Muscat and used to possess the " Sri Chakra " of anna. Surprisingly in that desert city near his house, he found a Bhilva tree and used to bring this for the puja and used to do puja to Anna's SriChakra with Bhilvam. Pl see srianna.org for more details.
