Chandana Seva to Kamakshi

Respected devotees of shrImAtA,

 

Sometime ago, I had posted about Chandana Seva to Kamakshi from

Very recently, I had the opportunity to talk to Shri Suresh Shastrigal, who is

the son of Shri Kamakoti Shastrigal mentioned in the link above, and it occurred

to me in talking to him that I make the request for sponsorship of this noble

cause. While individual sponsorships are very good, i thought maybe as a group,

we can volunteer to take this up for an entire month, cost for which is

mentioned in that link itself, and i am cutting and pasting below:

 

" The cost of Chandanam required to perform Abhishekam for the full month comes

to about Rs. 55,000 and the labor charges for making the sandal paste is Rs.

6,000. Thus, total charges for sponsoring the Abhishekam for an entire month

would be 61,000/month. "

 

Even if 300 of our group members donate ~200 Rs, this will become a reality. If

you are interested, please email me directly, so that we can pursue this

further.
