I was told to be suffering with kalasarpa dosha.Born in suklapaksha and Saturn lord of 10th and 11th house is in 12th house at closer degree with destroyer Rahu and hence, I was told I cannot earn or achieve any thing in my wholelife. Iam 39 years now and to till this day Iam not earning and depending on somebody else. Sometimes I fell like joining an ashram or even commiting suicide. I was also suffering from the same but after getting the treatment. I was benefitted a lot. How about Aditya Hrudayam to start with?? Rahu and Saturn in the 12th is a very good combination for success abroad (or far away from your home) or for mystical pursuits. Dont think you will do well in your native place. Any chance of going abroad ? This horoscope has some very good features as well. I have Aries ascendant - Venus and Mercury in own house, Moon exalted. Venus exalted, Sun exalted, Rahu in own house(kumbha) and Moon in own house all in navamsa. Saturn is vargottama. The only sore spot is Mars which is debilitated in navamsa, which leads to lack of will or getting dejected easily (esp. so since it is sitting with Moon in both navamsa and rasi). From this horoscope it looks like you have religious and mystical interests. Prayers to Mars is essential and prayers to Saturn, Rahu, Jupiter and Sun are highly recommended (doesnt hurt to pray to all the navagrahas). Very serious japa(10 hours+ per day) of a mantra to your ista(perhaps this is Visnu or his avataras?) is the best remedy IMHO. Then we have the priceless gem, the Lalitasahranama; i have yet to see someone who chants it regularly, failing to lead a good life. Dear Dev Maharaj, There is no information about the person's education etc. and that would have helped. Anyway, he does have Kalasarpa yoga but that only indicates that one has to struggle up to 42 years of life. even Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had Kalsarpa yoga in his horoscope but rose to become the first Prime Minister of India. This person has some raj yogas and also a Pravrajya yoga in 2nd house that is why the thoughts of joining an ashram. But Pravrajya yoga in 2nd rarely leads to asceticism. Such persons however are sometimes sometimes acting very detached manner with their family. This person obviously has lost his confidence from the tone of his letter. Having said all that, there is no reason he should not earn on his own from 10th of September of this year. He will however have to seek his fortune in distant lands and I think either his elder brother or somebody who acts like one towards him (including a friend) will be helpful in this attempt. he has only to seek the help of such people as only they can take him out of this jinx of no work. I think he may be a bit detached to his family. He should try to integrate with his family well. If of religious type, he can worship Lord Shiva in Sambshiva form. That will help him focus his mind. I learnt hatha yoga and practising raja yoga on and off. I have read lot of books written by Swami Sivanada,Swami Vivekananda and Swami Yogananda. I have walked to Thirupathi from Chennai for four times.It takes four days to reach Thirupathi. After coming back from London for nine times every week I have climbed seven hills and had Balaji darshan.I pray to him dont give me what I just want Him to relieve me from this skin and flesh. It is an irony that though everybody appreciate my intelligence and with my strong self confidence but still no breakthrough. I thought that something is very very wrong and I consulted a friend of mine who has very good knowledge in Astrology and he told that Iam suffering with Sarpa Kattu(kalasarpa dosha),which will not let me to do anything even after Brhma Prayathna ,if at all I do something it will end only in loss.The track record of mine proves he is right.Worst of it all he says once Sani dasa starts from 2011 it would be even worst and the warning would be demise of my father in 2009. After a long gap of 12 years I had a chance in 2004 to do some business and that too abroad.With some friends we joined to gether and opened a Veg restaurant at London.I joined as a shareholder with borrowed funds with high hopes and idea of profit and salary.But ,as destiny would have it till today no profit and due to change in the policy no salary and Iam back to India after one year,with no work ,no business and no income. And now we are planning to sell that off for a loss. It is a shame to lead a life depending on others for too long a period. I was advised to wear a Gomedha of 3.5 carats in right hand ,for seven years Iam wearing a Ruby in my left hand.Which one is better? He wants to be ahead in the race always.This attitude definitely takes him ahead in life in some way or the other.Though there could be delay on account of the 8 in the 28 as 8 stands for Saturn.28th May makes the person a gemini a very mental sign,very curious,very communicative. The gemini or mental influence becomes stronger on account of the fact that mercury is in its own sign Gemini by vedic astrology.Thus we have both ambition and intelligence in the person. With such devotion to Balaji as you have shown, HE will surely not forsake you. Starting 2011 the effects of Sani will intensify - however if you are abroad then this might fructify as a very beneficial time. Serious prayers to Sani(earing black colored cloth on Saturdays, burning a wick that has sesame seeds etc) and Mars are recommended. I do not think it will be as negative as your astrologer friend indicated, for there are some very good indications in your horo as well. As I mentioned before the worlds greatest astrologer does not believe in Kalasarpa yoga(there is no reference to it any of the classics) and says it is nonexistant. So keep trying for a job abroad or at least something like an export-import business(that has some connection with abroad) - I think this is where you will do well. About gems, generally ruby is recommended for you but his position is not very favourable; might also consider a gem of Jupiter since he is well positioned in your horo. But dont expect any drastic changes from wearing these gems. Finally astrology is only a potentiality, it does not have to come true and no astrologer is able to predict 100% accurately. When something bad is indicated, pratipaksha-bhavana(as said in Patanjali's yogasutras) is needed. Guest guest Posted March 3, 2007 Report Share Posted March 3, 2007 I am sorry but how could this possibly be good if Saturn Lord of 10 and 11 is in 12 with Rahu, to look for employment away from home? This position is only good for the late part in life (and good for moksha) since a lord of kendra is in 12 signifying later part of life. But status in life and employment (10th) will suffer from association of 10 lord with 12 and thats why, judging from this position, it would be bad if one is seeking employment away from home since Rahu, signifying journeys and foreign countrys is also in 12 together with Saturn, which definetly is not a good position. It is more likely that should the native try to move away from home he will loose income and maybe have legal problems or live in bad (small dirty or incarcerated) circumstances, as has already happened. I have not taken a lok at the whole chart just reading the comments but would appreciate any input what other good yoga or combination is responsible for the fact that you say that it should be good to invest or work in a foreign country, what stronger Yoga counters the above mentioned bad combination?
