In verse 16, the poet's talent entertains and is pleasing to the people and may be, he is awarded and respected by kings. But this verse speaks of supreme levels of achievement comparable to the all time Great poets. He will be capable of authoring great epics. This Primal force is worshipped through sound ( Mantra). She has the opalescent lustre of the Moon stone. This is referred to also as Chandrakanta. The mineral named Moonstone is found in the text books of Mineralogy. Technically, this is an Acidic Plagioclase Feldspar ( an alumina-silicate). It is so called because it shows a peculiar lightly-bluish opalescence resembling moon light. This property is exhibited (as in case of other similar minerals) pronouncedly, on a freshly cut surface The Devi with such opalescence is with the eight Goddesses, Vasini and others. These goddesses are represented in the Sri Chakra. Thus, this is contemplation of Devi in Sri Chakra. These Eight Goddesses are--Vasini, Kameswari, Modini, Vimala, Aruna, Jayini, Sarveswari and Kaulini. These are Vagdevataas representing also the syllables of Mantras. One who contemplates the Devi in Sri Chakra and can see the opalescence emanating is blessed. The essence of this verse is reference to the nature of the light. It is not the red of a rising Sun or flash of lightning. It is a soft continuous glow and truly Satvic. Soundarya Lahiri is about the worship of Devi in her sublime form as a beautiful and gracious mother, kind, soft and loving. It is she as mother who cools the fury of Rudra the father by treatment with ice packs. " sisiramupacharam rachayati " (Verse 38 or in some texts 39 ). Those who can reach such level of contemplation and worship her so will achieve immortal fame. It is the Mother her self who is manifested as the Eight Vagdevis. She is the origin and source of sound from which mantas, poetry, music and all else result. It is the Devi who speaks in the epics. Her supremacy and all encompassing power is emphasised again in this Verse Yantra is a rectangle bisected by a horizontal line forming 2 rectangles. The bisecting line slightly projects out of the rectangle at both ends. All the 4 sides of the rectangle end in tridents in both directions. Bijaksharams are Aym in centre of top rectangle and Aym, Aym in bottom rectangle. The " y " is pronounced as y in English My. Expected result of Upasana as evident from the verse is Supreme Mastery of all Sastras( branches of knowledge) Here’s a new way to find what you're looking for - Answers
