Guest guest
Maybe I am just stupid, but no I have no clue. It sounds like the sound effects in old sci-movies with spaceships landing and stuff... Also most physicists estimate that the original sounds of the big bang havent even come this far yet; that's what I learnt in HS anyway. Guest guest
Hi Kartik, I seriously doubt that you're stupid just because what I posted didn't make any sense to you. After I found this site and listened to the sound file,(which is supposed to basically be the " sound " of the universe frenetically expanding.Since it's so low pitched and subtle it has been enhanced exponentially here. I suppose my point, if I even had one, was that to me it sounded almost like a computerized Om. It may not sound like that to anyone else - but I thought it would make an interesting, if quirky, conversation peice. Anyway, I thought the page would fit the " tone " (pardon the pun!) of the group quite well.I hope i've cleared up some of the confusion. , kartik gaurav <omkaaraya wrote: > > Maybe I am just stupid, but no I have no clue. Guest guest
I dont know much about physics but for sound to occur you need matter to propagate it. Normally what is suggested is that the formation of the universe generated a lot of explosive energy which was so extreme that it lead to the condensation of energy and this later one formed the principle atom- Hydrogen- this is post big bang not during the initial instantaneous explosion. So they've probably changed the theory to accommodate for a sound during the " Big Bang " which itself didnt last very long. I dont really understand whether the AUMkara notion should be taken literally or if it is just a metaphor for something which the Rishis didnt obviously have in their vocabulary. But either way its very strange how they can come up with these conclusions lol.
