Guest guest
Namah Tripurasundari Hi Raghuveer I do believe in the Divine Mother. But I feel suspicious whether mere uttering of shlokas do anything favourable , if we offer flower to a Goddess image will the Goddess accept it or does it bother , are our prayers really listened by someone whom we cant see..... the doubts go on.. but i cant help it is my nature doubting the feasibility of actions. If you know, please tell me what should I do to develop trust. , " yraghuveer " <yraghuveer wrote: > > OM Shri Gurubho Namaha > Sri Matre Namaha > > Hmm seems like you 'dont' believe huh? ,a certain person(i have > taken permission from that person to post this)had an 'unbelieveable' > experience. > > This person could project and 'see' things miles away in real time, the > next moment the person prayed 'AmmA i dont need all these powers all i > want is YOUR GRACE and BLESSINGS'.The person now feels MORE blessed as > there are no more 'powers'. > > Some percieve those 'powers' as a hinderance as one will be stop > looking further and get 'trapped' within it,others gain them and move > on { V rare ??} to help others these are the REAL SADGURUS. > > And one more thing, one should be blessed by the GURU and DEVI for a > successfull sadhana. > > Hmm everything boils down to the GURU. > > Jai Mata Di > Raghuveer >

Guest guest
OM Shri Gurubho Namaha Shri Matre Namaha dear Haridev Ji Sankara Menon Ji has said it aptly 'FAITH' can move mountains. 'SEEING' her 'physical' form is possible for only ONE in a ZILLION! everyone else " see's " HER in visions and in dreams.Maybe SHE already paid you a visit as a 80 year old or a 6 year old and you failed to recognize HER ? You should be regularly looking at our group home page? 'DEVI is EVERYWHERE'.Start seeing HER in the ant you are about to crush, see HER in old lady begging, see HER in the child playing in the mud,TRUST will come its way. Guest guest
Namaste: I actually wouldn't worry about disbelief. It's all a part of the package. I actually do mantras and prayers because meditation makes me feel calmer. Whether I get any results from it is immaterial. Maybe you should not worry about results. It's okay to be distrustful. I personally am very suspicious of gurus, and for the life of me I can't seem to develop any trust with any of them. Often they demand that you read only their material, or trust only them, and surrender your ability to think. I can't do that. I trust the guru within, and I think that's okay. Someday after much meditation, and praying to Shiva who is the ultimate guru, I will find someone who does not appear to be embedded with egotism. I believe that. May you find peace, Shankari Kali " Haridev.S.V " <haridevcusat wrote: Namah Tripurasundari Hi Raghuveer I do believe in the Divine Mother. Guest guest
to me in many ways doubt is a blessing of Ma. it causes us to test our Truth because it tries to poke holes in our beliefs which in turn causes us go deeper so we are able to move forward with greater Faith. , " Haridev.S.V " <haridevcusat wrote: > > Namah Tripurasundari > > Hi Raghuveer > > I do believe in the Divine Mother. Guest guest
I agree. And yet, I know, beyond feeling wonderful by doing devotional and meditative practices, and beyond being inspired by powerful philosophical ideas, profound mythologies and spiritual teachings that there is something MORE.... something beyond everything and anything that I might or might not have " faith " in, or ever be able to understand or even to conceive. THAT I honor as ............. (there are no words) To be able to speak about and refer to, I call it Shiva-Shakti My soul finds it's image of devotion (murthi) in the relationship of Shiva-Shakti as a divine dance of complementary opposites whose union creates the universe and whose dissolution in each other is a beautiful image of the absorption of the individual into the ocean of bliss. In Taoism it is referred to as the interplay of Yin Yang. Beyond these is Tao and beyond reference based in duality. I can experience a personal relationship to and " with " THAT what is beyond on whatever level this - Shankari Kali Thursday, March 15, 2007 9:11 AM Re: I do believe but.. Guest guest
To make anything happen you have to believe first, just go with the flow and just let things happen, get in your mind that anything is possible not matter what and miracles can happen i know for sure. So myself i am the type that believes anything until someone can prove it wrong. This is my attitude toward life and this is how I see God/Goddess no one can prove it wrong so i believe. Guest guest
I did not get this. If we put our hand in fire, whatever type of belief we have, it will burn. Rather there is a tendency to hallucinate or forcibly correlate when there is too much of faith. I think doubting is natural. But at the same time, even if we dont understand why certain things work they may still work . I guess the taste of pudding is in eating it(rather than a theoretical explanation about why it should tatse such and such). Guest guest
sumant do not mix physical metaphors with metaphysical ones. It is precisely beause there is a chance to hallucinate and all that we need an experienced friend " or " guru " . sumantkb <sumantkb wrote: I did not get this.
