Guest guest
tatillekhaa tanveem tapana sasi vaisvaanaramayeem nishannam shannamapyupari kamalaanaam tava kalaam mahaapadmaatavyaam mrudita malamayena manasa mahantah pashyantoh dadhati paramaahlaada lahareem (with brilliance of a )Sky(illuminated by) Streak (of lightning); (possessing) Such Body(radiance); Sun, Moon , Fire, Encompassing( including all 3 of them in your totality) (you are)Seated(after the) Six(chakras) And Above(them); In The Lotus(are) Your Aspects In The Great Lotus Spread(thousand petalled); (with all) Impurity Disappearing (ie those with absolutely pure devotion) In Mind The Great(devotees) See(and) Receive(this gift of manifestation of your divinity) (with) Supreme Pleasure Waves( flooding their consciousness) This verse is a continuation of verse 14 and 19. There is a reference again to moon, sun and fire which are components of her form for worship. One has to pass through in meditation through these mandalas and experience the Sixteen aspects in the journey of Kundalini. She has the radiance of the sky lit up by lightning. Her divine presence can be seen only after passing through the Six cakras as described verse 14. Then one reaches the thousand petalled lotus. Her form in that is subtle and accessed only if one is capable of intense focus. This is like consciousness is concentrated and goes through an opening as fine as the opening in the lotus bud. Very few reach this supreme level. These are the great devotees. Before introducing nature of kundalini, Adi Sankara speaks of the ultimate goal in verse 8 last line " bhajanti tvaam dhanyaam katicana chidananda lahareem " . After describing nature of Kundalini, Sri Cakra and various mystical powers that can be obtained by this worship he goes back to the ultimate objective. In this verse(21) in the last line he says " mahaantah pashyantoh dadhati paramahlada lahareem " which is almost identical to last line of verse 14. Implicit here is the message that even if every one cannot reach the supreme level, there are powers/benefits resulting from this worship. But these are trivial and incidental in the search for supreme bliss of seeing her divine presence through internal worship. Yantra is a bit complex. Circumference of a circle is truncated at east end of the diameter. Th bottom part of the circumference is then extended inside the circle first into a small half circle(top half) and then a small straight line passing below the circle centre. This straight line is again folded into a half rectangle( top half) at the end of the line. Bijaksharams are Hreem, Hreem, Hreem. One of them is in the top portion of the circle and other two below the straight line in the bottom portion. one below the small half circle and other below the half rectangle. Expected result of upasana is victory over enemies and power to hold and sway the people ie a sort of star quality.
