They fed the infant born in Dravida desam. Please appear before me with those holy breasts, the bow held in Your red hand and the arrows, the necklace caressing those breasts, the beautiful, benevolent smile on your lips. Note 1: : About SL, LakshmidarA says, " Dravida sisu means Sri Shankara. " In the vyankyanam by Sri Anna (Sri Ramakrishna Math), he quotes Kanchi Mahaswamigal, " AcArya being a humble person will not refer to himself, but it is a reference to Gnanasambandhar, as a baby, who was breast fed by AmbAL. " Note 2: (This is my own interpretation extrapolating Kanchi Mahaswamigal's interpretation of SL. The learned! Please correct me if I am wrong.) After mentioning about HER breasts being the object of attention of HER Love, the kavi (Abirama Bhattar) immediately refers to the Sugarcane bow and the floral arrows, to remind everyone that these weapons in HER hand serve the antipode of their presence in the hands of manmatha. Worshipping HER with those weapons lead to deliverance from primal instincts, indicating how worshipping must be.
