In coming months I will be sponsoring many jinseks and homams for the beings of New Orleans, and through them all people, to liberate this entire city from samskara. Such a thing has not been done before, but that will not stop me. I have been developing leads to various yajna services and I will start sponsoring them at a greater rate in the future. Tomorrow, April 12th starts off this cycle with a Garuda jinsek performed by Monlam in Nepal for liberation of New Orleans from samskara's wheel. On the 21st of this month, in honor of my wife's birthday, I have a huge jinsek being done by Lama Gape for Kurukulle for attracting merit to New Orleans. It will be done in Chino Arizona. Next month a ten day Norlha Orgyen will be done by 175 monks and nuns of Zangdokpalri Monastery in Assam to attract wealth of all sorts. Then I will start with the Mahavidyas. To the degree that I can pay I will start sponsoring each and every Mahavidya for their various specialities for all beings of New Orleans and the Gulf South. To that end I will sponsor the installing of the Mahavidyas at a new temple in India. I have found a portal to the Jyotir Lingas and I will start having each temple perform Atirudrabhishekams. All this for my beloved city, which has gone the way of the meek and forgotten. I am not forgetting this city.All beings related to this city somehow will benefit, as per my samkalpam to benefit all beings of New Orleans. Things finally kick off tomorrow after much planning and saving. In the future I will sponsor all Devas and Buddhas for the liberation and prosperity of all beings of New Orleans. I am sorry I cannot do this for the whole world right now but I am only one person. If we see success in New Orleans such that people wake up and start to want to help then maybe we will do the whole world for liberation from samskara for all beings. All beings. It has started. Guest guest Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 I think that yes, what we have now is a situation where since the overflow of everyones desire is effecting everyone else, we therefore have the right and responsibility to overflow benevolence. In other words, gangs spill bullets into passers-by, Cheney rips off whole governments to get mind boggling reconstruction contracts, industries pour chemicals which are endangering life itself on the whole planet. The previous notion of affecting 'free will' through yagyas no longer applies since the rapaciousness of greedy people has necessitated equally fast and direct benevolence. Yes, I think that if I thought Wash DC was worth a damn in terms of actual power I would do something for it. But truth be told only one man wields most of the power in DC and that person is Cheneey. Yagyas could be done for him but do we want him to have actual occult power? I don't think so. The point is that karma and merit are required before the devas will give an extra push. When you start pouring out your own money for these things you'll find that you don't unnecessarily and carelessly give these meritorious actions away wholesale. I had already thought of doing this for Bush and Co, but they pretty quickly left my list, lets say for the bi-monthly Mahamritunjaya, as soon as real people with real problems needed it. See? This isn't really an experiment. Merit pulls, and so destiny is written. Noone who doesn't deserve it will get it. It's really the Lion versus the Eagle (read Esdras 2.) Sri vs. the Empire. Generosity versus greed. The future versus the past. An Atirudram = 11 Priests at Somanatha Jyotirlinga doing Rudrabhisheka is only 50 bucks a day. If someone cared to they could easily spring for a weeks worth for Washington DC. But I'll bet you something. For the 350 bucks that you worked hard for you'll doubtfully waste it on Bush and DC ditherers who really haven't ever done anything for anybody but pose. You'll want that week of Rudra to be closer to the ones you love. Check it out. Peace.
