Guest guest
virincih pancatvam vrajati hariraapnoti viratim vinaasam keenasoh bhajati dhanado yati nidhanam vitandree maaheyndree vitatirapi sammeelita drushaa mahaasamsaarey asmin viharati sati tvatpatirasou virinci (attains) State of Five Elements : Vishnu Even (is at his) End Destroyed (is) Yama (him self who is the god of death): Giver (of) Wealth (Kubera) Goes (to) Death (he of) Exalted Position Of Indra (and his) Group Even (have) Closed (their) Eyes (through this) Great Passage of Time You (alone) Are (eternally) Oh Sati ! (wife of Shiva) Sporting(along with) your Husband In Play. This verse emphasises eternal nature of Shiv-Shakti by comparing with transient nature of other gods. The universe created by Shiv-Shakti is cyclic and each cycle has a finite time. In Bhaja Govindam Adi Sankara says " kaala Kreedath Gachhat Aayu " Time passes and cycle ends taking with it every thing. The Universe in its individual parts and in totality attains death at some moment of time either gradually or catastrophically. The leaves die and so do big stars in the sky. Virinci (Brahma) the architect of the universe attains Pancatvam and is divided into the five elements viz Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Sky. Pancatvam is a dignified way of describing Death. Hari (Vishnu) reaches his end. Keenaasha (Yama the lord of death) meets a catastrophic death, Vinaasham. Indra/ Mahendra who presides over many gods like an Emperor of Emperors along with his followers closes his eyes. Therefore, through passage of time every thing dies. But Devi and her husband Shiva are eternal and without beginning or end.Their union gives rise to these cycles. Each of these cycles has its own Brahma, Vishnu, Indra and others. In verse 9 in last line also there is a mention of sporting of Shiva- Shakti " ...Saha Rahasi Patyaa Viharatey " .In verse 9 their pleasure travel through the five elements and Chakras energises and vitalises the elements. Here it leads to creation of the worlds, their cyclic changes and death followed by another cycle. This is the pastime of Devi along with her Husband. In this Union,It is Devi who is Primal. " saha rahasi Patyaa.. " in verse 9 and " ..viharati tvatpati rasou " show that Shiva accompanies. It is Devi who is eternal and Shiva becomes eternal by being her husband since she is Nitya Sumangali. Therefore, Shiva acquires Permanency and Immortality while other gods pass away. Yantra is a bit complicated. It consists of a square with right top corner rounded. Bottom edge is extended to the left by about half the length of edge and an incomplete circle is drawn upwards in such a way that if completed the end point of edge will be on circumference of the circle. About 5/6 parts of the circle circumference is drawn. Left vertical edge of the square is extended up wads. Top edge is also extended to the left. A figure like, section of a Ba loon is drawn consisting of a triangle with 2 sides and third side curving to form a semi circular circumference. On this semi circle a trident is drawn pointing upwards Bijaksharams are Kleem, Kleem one out side the square below the figure formed at the left top corner and other at centre of square.
