thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:

Wearing the nice young boar of budding tusk,

dense twined hair flowing down,

pulling around the young snake of bent teeth and fittingly wound to waist,

cloacked with the hole-handed (elephant) blanket,

crowned with water and moon

- is the Reverend of thiruvalampuram,

hailed by the bangle wearing youth!

Notes:

1. thirunAvukkaracar is very impressed by the sight of the

Lord at thiruvalampuram. That pours out in this song and

the thiruthANDakam of the same abode.

2. eyiRu - tooth/tusk; Enam - boar; vIkkuthal - to tie;

puzai - hole; puzai kaiya - hole handed - elephant.
