(let)Prayer (be from my)Prattle Sculpted All (my movements) Even (become)

Postures (used for your) Worship:

(let my)Walk (become) circumambulation (In worship) Like : Taking Food(it self

become an) Offering (in the) Ritual(of worshipping you)

(let)Prostration (before you be nothing but) Same As(the) Rest (I take) In

Total Self Surrender, Alike

Worship Repeatedly (continually) Of You Becomes(every one of my actions; as if

my self is) Exchanged For (your) Glorious Manifestation

This is the most-quoted verse of Soundarya Lahari both for its poetic content

and devotional quality. This elaborates the concept of Sarvam Bhagavataarpanam,

total surrender to the power worshipped. The devotee is filled so completely

with devotion to Devi that every act of his is equivalent to her worship. Even

he is just talking, his words are sculpted into Prayer. His ordinary gestures

acquire the sanctity and grace of Postures used in Sadhana. The food he takes

to sustain his sadhana is essentially an offering to Devi When he rests to renew

his strength, it is Prostration before her in total Surrender. His worship is

repeated and continual. He is completely aware oh his identity. He is not

totally with drawn from the world. He carries out his functions to the extent

necessary. It is a poetic expression to say that during these actions it is as

if his self is exchanged for her divinity. His normal functions are thus

dedicated to her.

What is described here is state of Jeevan Mukti. The devotees prays to the

Mother for attaining this state.

Yanta is a downward pointing trangle with tridents in all 3 corners.

Bijaksharam Hreem is in in the triangle.

Expected result of upasana is knowledge of true nature of self and accquring

secret mantras for spiritual powers. Another result for the blessed is " Leela

Darshanam " .This is a spiritual experience profound but so brief that one

realizes this only after the experience. The Devi for a few seconds appears to

the Devotee. One realizes this due tobeing filled with Bliss and Devotional

feeling after the experience. But the emotion will leave the body drained. This

is power and one has to be very careful in this upasana and be fit physically

and emotionally and maintain purity.
