O Spouse of Siva! the homage rendered to Thy feet becomes by itself the homage rendered by the three gods born of Thy three Guna-s. It is, therefore, meet that these [gods] ever stand by the jewelled seat on which Thy feet rest, with their folded hands adorning their crowns. This stanza implies that those who worship the Devi stand in no need of separately worshipping Brahman, Visnu and Rudra, who are but her agents, standing by her foot-stool, ever at her beck and call and in the act of adoring her.
