Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters, It is true that Brahminism has imposed a lot of things which now prick as the thorn in the Hindu psyche. Untouchability, caste based on color of skin ,unnecessary rituals. All this have caused much backwardness to the people, halted technological progress etc. Vedas are deemed the highest authority of Hinduism and thus Shruthri. But yet the people (Brahmins) who were associated with it have practiced much hypocrisy which I do not have to remind. Is this the outcome of having associated with the truth? Is not knowledge (more so knowledge which saves and makes man a responsible being) to be shared with everyone. Yet, there is one thing I wish for all of us to ponder. The rest of the Indians too have submitted to caste for want of wanting to belong to class. In the land where I stay, (Malaysia), the natives language are still abundantly peppered with Dravidia heritage, most are word for word. This is proof of sea travel by Indians. However, some moron came up with the bright idea that we will lose our caste if we cross the seas and halted the progress. But how many are willing to take drastic measures to rectify this problem? Buddha did, many centuries ago. He stepped out of Brahminism and did not recognize the Vedic life. Still he was included as one of the Avatars of Vishnu. Let us say I were to write a book about behavior of light. If I were to say that light behaves as a photon and also as wave, this is correct. I can right about Einstein's contribution and so on. But if I were to write that a beam of sunlight will stop and make a turnabout in the city of Las Vegas if somebody cries 'hoola hop' at precisely 9.30 am than you should know that I am a liar. But I have also written many things which are true. How can we account for that? The only way is that I am a recorder. In many countries the priests are the forerunners of recording works as scribes. These are used by the Kings to influence the minds of many through religion to ensure continuity of rule like the Pontius Pilate, the Roman emperors who seeked to maintain throne due to religious sanction. This is where all problems begin. The Shaktas walk on fire to defy the fire worshipped by the Arians (ariathavan - not the knower of truth). But what has been done cannot be undone. There are bad and good Indians as well as bad and good Englishmen etc. The human race is one only. Segregating according color of skin (varna) is not the way to jnana. Shaktism is one of the ways to jnana and suited especially in todays world where we are bombarded with a thousand unnecessaries the moment we step out of the house. Thanks and regards. Sashi.
