[867] NaptrI : Who takes the form of the daughter of a daughter

The means of healthy manifestation is grace of the power of progeny.

That strengtens the idea of eternity in a person who has otherwise got

attached to the decaying flesh of the body. It is, therefore, said

that 'he who acts, abandoning attachment, dedicating his deeds to

Brahman, is untainted by sin as a lotus leaf by water'

Goddess NaptrI is this power of abandoning attachment.

[868] SisupriyA : Who is beloved of [infants] children

The Mother is the patent energy, fresh and strong in children to ward

off troubles which disturb their innocence. She is also called

BAlagrahavinAsinI, she removes all planetary and other troubles of

innocent children unasked. Even Yogis covet this favour of the Divine

Mother.

[869] StandA : Who nourishes with her breasts.

Just as a mother is always ready to nourish her child with the fresh

milk oozing from her breasts so does the Divine Mother of the universe

grace her creation with the milk of knowledge and action, which

constitute Her universal breasts. Thus, the Divine Mother is sustainer

of all kinds of life in the manifestation.

[870] StandhArA : From whose breast flows a continued stream of milk.

From Cit Sakti flows the greace of perpetua life force in all beings.

The life power like a stream continues in the world, and passes on

ever to be new. ParA Sakti pervades all animate and inanimate beings

in their own capacities and yet is ever pure and ever new.
