At the moment its not possible for me to take diksha so whatever sadhana i start has to be by me alone. My instinct guides me to Lord Shiva and Maa Kali. I know thats Shiva and Shakti themselves so what is the method to start with? I have read that the Ma Kali Vidya can be done without initiation. Is that ok and whats the process? How can i worship Lord Shiva? I request all the sadhaks here to please help me with this issue. I am not looking for any material gains from this and only for spiritual upliftment. He can't prescribe you a medicine throught the email! I think that it is the best that you start your sadhana is, that you read about Kali and you learn as much as you can about her so that you know what she represents (her gestures, her sword, her garlend and so on). Then it is important that you remember her at all time. Visulate her in fron of your eyes. Meditate on her, on her mantra. She must be in your heart at all time!! She will take care of you then. She will become your guru. Do solar (pngala) sadhana like Surya Namaskara, for start! Do Trataka, clean your body and mind with Hatha Yoga (Neti, Basti, Kapalbhati,...)! Do Yoga Nidra!
