i have a seriouse question that is been going in my mind since long.......

when one cuts the cycle of death and re-birth and gets moksh or mukti then what

happens...then what happens to the atman(the soul)....if one knows that this is

his last physical life in this world and he will not be born again since he has

now cut/stop the cycle of death & re-birth then what happens to his/her soul

after this life....in this specific case where does the soul go after leaving

the body...does it get dissolved in the cosmic universe or what...what is the

final resting place or final destination for the atman(the soul) in the infinite

universe considering the scenario i gave now...

any views ...

Namaste Vikrant:

I'm am no expert on the matter, but I believe you reach god-realization. You

realize that everything is god including what you call yourself, which of course

does not really exist.

You become an aspect of god which is what you already are, but haven't realized

it.

Shankari

Hardly ever any Guru talks about what is after, sure there are certain stages

as one leaves physical realm, however when it comes to logical explanation of

Moksha, to my understanding there aren't any. My father recently wrote to me

" sometimes I just feel there is just nothing there or here really " but Who

knows. joanna

i have not been there so I do not know. However how will these questions help

you in your upasana? upasana is the path that will open up answers to all these

questions.

Thats why shankara in his great bhaja govindam said " Bhaja Govindam!! Bhaja

Govindam!! Bhaja Govindam moodhamate!! Sampraapthe sannihite kaale nahi nahi

rakshati dukring karane "

Shankara found an old man spending time on learning sanskrit grammer and said

" do upasana, at the time of passing over this grammer will not help you "

There is a saying in hindi

" daud sake to daud le jab tak teri daud "

" daud thakya, dhoka mitya vastu thaur ki thaur "
