But I have heard knowledgable persons calling him baalaaa subrahmanya. the mantra being baalaa mantra with subrahmanya mantra added. i also have heard that Subrahmanya is called " father of baalaa " . In my tradition certain subrahmanya mantras with samputas of srividya are also known. At least my guru spoke of them to me. So they must be from the parampara. I am not sure.
