Guest guest Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 Hello Everyone, Tonight I was meditating on Kali and I had a flash of inspiration where I started visualizing Kali in a very fierce aspect as Chamunda. It also occurred to me that since in this form she slays demons, I could offer my personal demons to her. What I am essentially going to do is create a list of negative characteristics that I see in myself and " feed " them to Chamunda by visualizing her destroying and eating them. Has anyone ever heard of this type of visualization technique being used? Tonight, I was breathing and intoning Kali's name internally while visualizing her dancing in my heart chakra when this idea suddenly flashed in my mind. Personally, I think that in order to raise my own consciousness closer to my beloved Kali I have to get rid of any personal hang ups. Your visualization technique is the apt one as it is founded on your inner guidance. That means that is what mother Kali wants and that is what realization is all about- stripping your outer false pretenses- so many are covering us from so many births and ultimately what remains is our true form. In my opinion, one who is good at visualization and who is acting from the heart can accomplish great things. It is the foundation of many meditations and clearing techniques. Have fun!
