Sounds like you're on the right track!

Or recognizing that ego can¹t kill ego and that these demons are none other

than Mother/Yourself, one might take the advice of Machig Labdrön, sever the

ego into space, and leave a delicious corpse as an offering for them to

feast on.

Sincerely, Uddhava

Mother may I lovingly care for you in every form without fear or desire

The Poet Ramprasad said: " Meditate on the mystery of Kali using any method

of worship you please "

In Swami Satyananda's translation of the Chandi, he names the demons slain

by her as:

Madhu and Khaitaba: too much and too little

Chanda: Passion

Munda: anger

Raktabija: the seed of desire

Shumhba: self-depracation

Nishumbha: self-conceit

Mahishasura: The great Ego
