Guest guest
Namaste Shankariji, Kulasundariji & all Group Members. I just wanted to share another fact from the same story. We all have learnt from various sources that Guru Dronaacharyaji asked Eklavya for his thumb, which would never let him be an archer for the rest of his life Question over is can a Guru ever ask for such a cruel act ? Even if Eklavya had not studied in his Gurukul, still he would have brought his Guru's ( Dronaachaaryaji's) name to fame in future. So, the fact is something different, entirely different from what the world generally knows and propogates : The fact is that in ancient times the Gurus were real seers. Hence, Guru Dronaachaaryaji could easily see that Ekalavya would become an unvincible archer in the future ( as Eklavya shot a bunch of arrows at a time, into the barking dogs mouth to stop its noice, without letting even a single drop of blood come out of the dogs mouth). Guruji at once could see and judge that in future if Eklavya grows up and supports Dharma then there will lot of love, peace, prosperity and harmony on this earth but in case, unwillingly like Bheeshm pitaamah, if Eklavya is compelled by the situations, and he supports Adharma then there will lot of unrest and destructions on this earth. Hence, without any second thoughts, Guruji left no chance to for any destruction to happen (in his knowledge). Hope you liked this conceptual fact. Pl revert with your valuable comments.
