Guest guest
Namaste Until I met Maa, I did not know about Ramakrishna. In HIs lifetime, He was recognized by a select few, as an avatar and savior on this Earth. His superhuman spiritual attainments and the effect He had on His disciples is well documented. He is the Guru of Maa and guides Her in this life, even though He has left his body over 100 years ago. He effect is so profound, that everything you see: Maa, the Devi Mandir, Swami, all are pure reflections and directly linked to Him. There have been many books written about His life. One favorite of mine is: " They Lived with God " . Maa gave it to me many years ago, and I have read it many times. What draws me to that book? The stories about the His direct disciples. Each man and woman, young or old, single or married, all had the same dreams and hopes and fears and trials and tribulations as we have today. Each related to Ramakrishna in their own unique way, and Ramakrisha tailored His teachings so suit them. Each developed in their own unique way, and reflected Ramakrishna differently. I have experieced Maa and Swami in this same way. And am in awe of Their Infinite flexibility, adapatbility, and pure love as They work to corral and subdue that wildest beast, our ego. As we have a virtual satsung, I realize that no one teaching will suit us all. Each of us will have to dive deep into our own hearts and experience the Truth there. Each of us will have to talk to Maa in our hearts, and hear Her voice as She speaks directly to us. Love holds us all together. And as we seek to give advice and share our experiences, we have to be mindful of each other's uniqueness, as well as our univeral brother and sisterhood. I hope that the words we write here stir each of us to contemplate our own souls, and bring us into total communion with each other. I celebrate our differences, and our unity. May we all be in harmony with Divine Love and Truth, as they are the Eternal Gurus. love Jai Maa Jai Swami vishweshwar
