Guest guest
NAMASTE The worship of Divine Mother begins this Monday the 19th for 9 days. It is Spring Navatri. At the Devi Mandir this is a very special time. Everyone focuses with as much intensity as possible on worship of Mother. Typically, to demonstrate one's love and respect for Mother Divine, each devotee gives up something. For example, one only eats fruit and nuts, while another fasts on water only. Each increases their sadhana according to their capacity. This is a time when the connection to Divine Mother is intensified. So, make a sankalpa worthy of your love and devotion to Mother Divine, and strive to fulfill it. Jai Maa Jai Swami love vishweshwar
Guest guest
Namaste Vish Thank you for sending out this reminder, along with some basic information. Any other pearls of wisdom you, or others on the list, can offer about this time would be most welcome. I read what I found on the Devi Mandir's website and have also begun researching on the web. May the Divine Mother shower you with blessings wendy , " inspectionconnection108 " <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > NAMASTE > > The worship of Divine Mother begins this Monday the 19th for 9 days. > It is Spring Navatri. Dear vishweshwar ~ well if this errant child could have picked a better time to "come home," I don't know how ... I think Divine Mother Durga must have been guiding me. Will there be chanting of the Chandi, and will it be able to be seen via the webcam? Several people told me that my friends here have been asking about me. For that I thank you all. I let my heartbreak isolate me, and sadly withdrew from my True Support. Somehow, I knew that it wasn't the best idea -- going through these losses without the support of my sadhana, or participating as I am able in the group sadhana, but I became lost. Now the sun is bright in the sky; it is hard to stay lost when Divine Mother is making everything new and beautiful. Given my illnesses, I may be on and off again, so far as the Digest goes, but I am doing the universe sankalpa, and I will think of something I can accomplish for Navratri. Blessings and showers of Divine Petals to all ~ Linda AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at AOL.com.
