How many would be interested? Please let me know. Homa is a very powerful technique for quieting the mind and opening the heart to God's Grace. Is homa tantric and yagya vedic? is yagya more complex? I had been wanting training for a long time but, wonder how to do that without a place to properly having a Homa in an apartment sitting. That's something I feel a real natural art as a pujari, to perform Homa rituals, but unfortunately don't have the space to do that. A yajna is generally a vow of worship at the fire lasting days, weeks, months, or even years, while a homa is a vow of worship at the fire lasting generally the time one can sit in one asana. My name is Neil and I'm mostly have been a silent member of the group, but I would like to participate more and become more of an active member. I would like to come in support of the idea of making a DVD of the Homa class. Homa is such an important thing. I would very much like to learn about it, but I am not going to be able to sign up for the class because I only have limited computer access at work, and my finances right now are such that I'm not going to be able to get a computer at home for some time. A DVD of the homa class would be so wonderful for people like me who might not be able to attend the class via the internet. I'm also upset that I can't attend the Satyanarayan class. I also can't download any of the videos and songs and things. I know DVDs are expensive, but I would be willing to pay whatever the cost would be for a copy of the class. Thanks and Jai Maa!! We just started a class tonight on the Satya Narayana Vrat from Visnu Puja book and Edward brought up a homa question that Swami helped him w/. You might want to consider joining us tomorrow night and starting your learning there with the Truth Sankalpa. So glad you are here, know you will enjoy the classes and discussions.
