Guest guest
Question from a devotee:I have a very simple and basic question. Why do you wear orange? And why does Shree Maa wear yellow with a red border? I know that these are colors worn by renunciants, but I am looking for a deeper meaning - is there a particular energy or vibration which comes from these colors? Swamiji's response:There is a particular vibration which comes from these colors, as well as indicative of a spiritual attainment. The orange means renunciation and broad universal love. One who wears that kind of cloth and color always, always remains in the same bhava or attitude of awareness. He doesn't change his attitude when he changes his clothes, because all the clothes are the same. Other social people have social clothes to assist in projecting the attitude they feel appropriate for that occasion: a business suit, a cocktail dress, a swimming suit or a tennis outfit, etc. The yellow indicates purity and the red depicts passion or love for: a love for purity or a passion for purity. Guest guest
Swamiji, Will you also explain white and red clothing. I have seen photos of you and Shree Maa in the colors and know that Parvati wears this dress. Also, does Shree Maa or do you mind if devotees wear other colors. Thank you, Sadhu Maa , " Nanda " <chandimaakijai wrote: > > > Question from a devotee: > I have a very simple and basic question. Why do you wear orange?
