HANUMAN

HANUMAN, the divine monkey, ever devoted, ever serviceful, is so full

of love and faith nothing remains difficult for him. If we cannot

stop the movies of the monkey mind, then at least we can tune to the

vision of the divine monkey. His dance is always graceful, his

jumping an act of service, and his thoughts of devotion are always so

soothing.

Hanuman's name means: the manifested existence of the Supreme

Consciousness which pervades all.

By puja, worship of the servant of the Lord, we train our monkey mind,

rechannel our self-serving interests to become a selfless- servant,

and teach our consciouness to view the movie of the divine lila, the

drama of everyday attitudes and occurances,with the similiar

conviction and strength as Hanuman showed in all of his endevors.
