Guest guest
Beloved Family, Namaste and Pranams! With the grace of our Beloved and Maa and Swamiji we are in Mother India. I thought I would post as often as possible of our travels here. We took our flight on Thursday night with the blessings of Maa and Swamiji. With a lovely sendoff from the family and our divine charioteer (Gauri) drove us. On the way, we chanted the Chandi on the plane, three verses to the breath. The drone of the plane drowned our voices, so everyone was busy watching the movies and no one noticed. I hope She did. The first stop was Hongkong for an hour. And then in Singapore we had 6 hours. We asked the taxi driver to take us to the famous Mariamman (Divine Mother) temple. He took us to a Vishnu temple instead. The doors of all the deities was closed and there were a few people resting. There was an altar for Vishnu-Durga (I believe one of the names of Mother Annapurna). We sat near the door and chanted the Chandi Path. As we started it started raining. I watched the gentle rain falling on the green grass three feet away from us and I felt that Divine Mother had come down in the form of the cool rain and breeze. When we finished we walked out, and found that our slippers were soaked. But our hearts were full. We reached Delhi at 10 in the night. Next day we met a dear devotee who will be coming to the Mandir soon and exchanged stories about Maa and Swamiji. Tomorrow we are off to Benares! I look forward to my first darshan of Mother Ganga, Kashi Viswanath, and Mother Annapurna! I bow down to Mother India, home of all that is holy, abode of the saints and sages. We are grateful to be here, but miss Maa and Swamiji and our brothers and sisters. Wish you were here. with love and prayers, srini

Guest guest
Srini: I kept looking for your chanting during this morning's Chandi path. Maa looked at me when we got to her house and I thought of Ramya who assisted Maa with heating up the food. You are Ramya are missed more than I can express in words. You both are close to our hearts while you are traveling in the far away land. warm regards, Ashish Goel srini_sadhu [srini_sadhu] Sunday, April 15, 2007 8:03 AM Subject: [www.ShreeMaa.org] Jai Maa! Guest guest
Jai Maa Srini dear, we missed you at Ganesh Puja last Saturday. At the end of the program, Sri Maa waved you on the internet, I hope you got the blessings. Looks as if you and Ramaya are carrying the whole family with you on a pilgrimage of Puniya Bhoomi Bharat. May Shiva bless you both. Regards Chetan
