Guest guest
Beloved Family, Jai Maa! My humble prostrations at the Lotus Feet of our beloved Swamiji and Shree Maa! By Mother's Grace, we got up at 2:00 am on wednesday morning and set out to go to Annapurna Temple for early morning worship. Unfortunately due to some police formalities, we could enter the temple only after the arati had begun - which was close to 4:00 am. Mother looked spectacularly beautiful - Black face with chandan and kumkum and a green cloth draped around Her. The arati was finishing and we sat down to chant Swamiji's book of Mother Annapurna. The priests placed a beautiful silver covering over Her and someone told me that it looked like She was smiling as we chanted Her names to Her! We went to a little temple room adjoining the main altar and there were beautiful altars for Maha Kali, Puri Jagannath and his cutest brother and sister, Mother Annapurna sitting on a horse alongside Lakshmi and Saraswati. There was the most adorable altar of Mahadev (with a turban and mustache) and Mother Parvati with Little Ganesh on Her lap!!!! They were all sooooooo cute and sooooo alive! i could just live my life watching them and playing with Them! We left the Temple and went to Mother Ganga and were fortunate to bathe in Her purifying waters with Gayatri Mantra. At 10:30 we returned to Annapurna Maa and were so blessed to be able to participate in Her shringar (decoration) and worship by offering milk, yogurt, honey, sugar, panchamrit, akshad and other holy articles. Mother's Grace is unbounded, infinite and causeless.... We met the Mahant of the Temple and he gave us three teachings. First, we are so lucky to have a human birth. In that birth, if you have a religious feeling you are luckier still. But luckiest of all is if you can have any association with a saint or mahapurush. How kind is our Swamiji, we felt that He helps us all by giving darshan and teachings and welcoming each and all through the webcam each day. Second, the Mahantji said helping the soul (atma) of another (par) is the way to find paramatma (Supreme Divinity). Third, he said any moment you can spend in company of saints and devotees of God talking of God, is as joyful as being in heaven! We were in heaven, we are in heaven and we pray to Mother and Swamiji to keep us in the heaven of Their Lotus Feet and make us pure instruments of goodness and truth! Om Maa! Jai Maa! rami
