Guest guest
Namaste: Once I was describing to Maa about some behaviors of mine which I did not like, yet I continued to act poorly, even when I knew I should stop. As a rattled on about this self centered experience, I stopped myself in mid sentence and said: " Maa, the ego is so tricky. " She immediately responded, " You have no idea how tricky he is. " What can I do against this great force of darkness? I pray to Maa Chandi that She will take Her sword, and pike, and discus, and mantras of atomic force, and blast the deeply entrenched army of the great ego out of their hiding place in my mind and heart. No amount of cuddling, and sweet words of praise and thanks have cajoled him to surrender thus far. I cannot wait another day to be free of his influence. He has terrorized me long enough. Let the battle commence, I welcome Maa's Divine Force, let Her Shakti overwhelm the forces or duality. Darkness take flight from the Divine forces of Light. Guest guest
Vish, It has been my observation that it is the ego that creates drama. Immediately following each repetition of the mantra, there is an instant of Pure egoless Space or Silence. It then becomes my privilege and duty to honor that gift of Mother's Divine Silence by allowing it to expand and grow without filling it with more drama. Guest guest
Namaste Vish, I have a question: if everything is God, is not the Ego also a manifestation of the Divine? Guest guest
Namaste Tanmaya:I always love reading your posts. You have so much wisdom. I agree with you.I think sometimes Ma's realizations are painful. They come into direct conflict with our most cherished attachments. After asking for a boon, the next day I had a painful realization that my attachments were the problem, which was quite an emotional awakening.Peace,Shankari Kality_maa <dsjames wrote: Vish, It has been my observation that it is the ego that creates drama. Guest guest
Namaste Henny! Sorry to jump into your mail but your question is so full of potential. Here's my 5 quarter worth of advise. It's so good that you ask such questions. These are the kinds of questions that lead to truth. Keep searching until you find the answer that rests with you & stay open to new ideas that can help you in your growth. Yes everything is God/Godess, so all works to that end. If you can grasp this lesson you will be able to understand why everything is the way it is. You'll find peace in all things & you'll be able to let go of anger, fear, pain, hate & soooo much more. Suggest that you meditate(pray) on this question and allow God to answer it for you. Somethings are so complicated that only HE/SHE knows how to best tie up all the loose strings that will allow you to see the answers for yourself. Sit down somewhere alone and med. and then ask(pray) for the answer and lesson. Sit there until you get a response & be open and gracious with what you recieve. Sometime these things have to be prayed on and then you wait patiently but with your eyes ears and heart wide open. Examining everything that comes in as you go about your business. It will surprise you how the answers come. Notice that you sit and wait for a reponse not nessasarily an answer. The answer can come imediately but most often comes while washing the dishes, fixing a toilet, bandaging a booboo, watching life in front of you, etc........like a puzzle it will all come together and suddenly it will all make since. Then let us know what you find out. Think we can all benifite from your discovery. Guest guest
Namaste Devi, thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful words. Sometimes questions are perhaps more important than answers, and you are very right to recommend I pray and listen, with love, Henny - In , devi <student61754 wrote: > > Namaste Henny!
